On March 20th 2009, the apnoti.com team celebrated construction “half-time”, for the upcoming move of the office premises, with a roofing ceremony. The roofing ceremony was celebrated traditionally, according to an old German tradition which includes the setting up of a roofing wreath on the raw structure. The building owner thanked Starnberg’s governing mayor, Ferdinand Pfaffinger, the architects and all involved craftsman during his address and christened the new building by shattering of a bottle “champagne” on it. The shards are supposed to bring continued good luck and we actually see it as the continued apnoti.com luck. Afterwards there was plenty of suckling pig (a very delicious and typical Bavarian meal) during a meal for employees, construction workers and future tenants and as it was, we enjoyed the programming free time by drinking the one or the other beer.
Watch the pictures in the gallery and get known our new building (even if it still looks like a construction site) and of course check out the apnoti.com team in a ‘non-programming mode’.
Best wishes.
The apnoti.com Team
